Together

Most folks were made to enjoy hanging out together. God created us all with different personalities. However our personalities are designed to interact with each other. Just wandering around in a group with no purpose hoping the water doesn't freeze doesn't cut it.

We learn at an early age it feels good to give, receive, and share. (In Atalie and Michael's case they are sharing their Thanksgiving snacks.) Giving, receiving, and sharing develops relationships.

As we grow up and continue those relationships we start to care about each other.Relationships are the glue and caring is the purpose that motivates us to have a plan to make a life rather than just wandering around like geece hoping things don't freeze in around us. Below Mark, Becky, and Kurt are watching Mike try his hand at a game called Angry Birds. I think the younger generation actually just renamed Pac-Man.

Relationships and caring about each other and the people they work for are absolute musts for a family that works together in the custom work business. With winter looming closer our outfits were able to get home and work on our own NH3 acres Friday evening.
When we get rained out or froze out from fieldwork it's always enjoyable to share and listen to each others stories over morning coffee before we go out and fix the stuff we broke or clean up the stuff that got dirty.

Relationships shouldn't always be about work and togetherness doesn't always mean with the same folks. Indivigual families need and benifit from being together independantly and in this case this bunch of got-it-together girls are going to spend a well deserved weekend together without their husbands or kids. All of you will never know how much I appreciate you.

It says in Genesis that it is not good for man to be alone. (I'm not talking about the previous picture but with several of the grandkids helping out Saturday in the rain I tend to agree with Him.) So God designed marriage so we can have someone to love and care about for the rest of our lives. Thank you God for our spouses. The goodlooking couple below got married yesterday in our cabin.
For years there was a group of us that were friends in school together. That relationship continued after we all got married. Several of our kids are the same age and grew up together. Now we are all getting gray together and are empty nestors. Since Duane and Sue moved to a new nest in Pleasant Hill,  Jay and Diane, and Jan and I, went up to see their new home. Thanks for a wonderful supper. Thanks for all your friendships. And Sue, you are still the greatest at making Dutch Letters.

"Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For the measure you use, it will be measured to you."  Luke 6:38
