Cheaper.....by the Dozen

It's interesting these days what we have in dozens. Even back in Bible times there were a dozen tribes of Isreal. Jesus had a dozen disiples and there were a dozen baskets of food left after Jesus fed 5000 people.

Every week Jan bakes 25-30 dozen cookies for fellowship time after church on Sunday mornings.

We get our eggs from our neighbor and landlord Ron Voss. He usually brings us 16 dozen at a time. Everyone in our family knows there are usually always eggs in the garage refigerator if they are short at home.

Jan has flowers everywhere around the yard. Sometimes she will pick a dozen to put on our table or share with others.

This past Friday evening we celebrated Amelia's 5th birthday. She's the one on the left. Since everyone was there we took a picture of our dozen grandkids. Once in a while on Mondays when Jan babysits I wouldn't give you a nickel for another one but I can assure you I wouldn't take a million dollars for any one of these.
