It's early on a beautiful moonlit Sunday morning and I'm trying to decide what to share this week. Sunrises are a favorite of mine. It's a promise of another new day. This is a harvest picture taken earlier in the week. I love watching kids interact with kids and wondering what they are thinking. Here Zachery has a crsis of some kind. Elliot is coming up with a solution and Ezra is ignoring the situation.
While waiting on a truck BJ is cleaning the windows on the combine I'm driving while Ezra watches. Thanks BJ.
It's not always possible to stop for a meal. However on this day Jan brought us pizza and homemade apple pie.
Oops. Not one of my favorite things. Mowing around fields after they are harvested is something I enjoy doing but once in a while an intake just jumps up and gets in the way. I quickly relpaced it so the boys wouldn't know I goofed again.
Mike and Kurt aren't letting grass grow under their feet. They are starting a terrace before the combines even get out of the field.

Another one of my favorite things is kids having the ability to relate to adults. Here my neaces are selling pop and cinnamon rolls to the attendees of Grandpa's machinery consignment sale at the salebarn
This bean field looks like a football field. I enjoy being a seed dealer. Often I will plant a mix of beans that customers have either returned or are left over.

"Then I realized that it is good for a man to eat and drink, and to find satisfaction in his work under the sun(rise) during the few days of life God has given him, for this is his destiny. Another thing, when God gives a man things, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his destiny, and be happy in his work, this is a gift from God. He seldom looks back on the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with the gladness of his heart." Ecclesiastes 5:18-20
